Custom Time Formats

If you’ve been wishing you could change the way times, or dates for that matter, are displayed in LogTen Pro, you’re in luck! LogTen Pro actually takes this information from your Mac’s System Preferences, and it’s quite easy to change.

  1. First Open System Preferences, usually found in your dock at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Select the “International” preference
  3. Now select the “Formats” tab - here you’ll have “Customize” buttons for both date, and time

I personally recommend setting the time to a 24h format with a leading zero and removing the separator altogether. This way you have times that look like 0630, and it makes typing them in much easier since you don’t have to enter the “:”.

Note that this does NOT affect your system clock in the menu bar. It has it’s own settings in the “Clock” tab of the Date and Time System Prefernce.
