Changes in LogTen Pro 3.2.5

  • New Flight Experience Detail report that displays more detailed totals broken down by popular categories and types
  • New European Jeppesen style report
This report marks some new features in the report system:

    • You can now specify a dateFormat (important for display only the time portion of the departure and arrival times) and a displayType in keypaths, check out the sample European Jeppesen report to see how they’re used
    • This report uses some more advanced predicates to dynamically determine which data should be shown, such as only adding flights in the simulator section if the flight has simulator time, and deciding whether or not to “tick” the “Single-Pilot Time” boxes based on whether the flight has both PIC/P1 time AND no multi-pilot time

NOTE: This report uses the old “custom time 1″ field for multi-pilot time. If you have not customized this field then it will automatically be re-named to “Multi-Pilot Time”. If you ARE using this field for something else, and are using a different custom time field to track multi-pilot time you will need to update the report accordingly
  • Added a new preference to select whether or not you would like LogTen Pro to automatically add a matching takeoff when you enter a landing
  • Times such as departure/arrival, on/off duty, and on/off blocks now use a standard Apple date picker which should help reduce confusion about what format should be used, and eliminate frustrating “formatting errors”
  • Performance
    • LogTen is now more efficient about what operations have to be done when a document is opened. Note that you will see these benefits the SECOND time you open your logbook with 3.2.5
    • If the preference of whether or not to auto fill airports is disabled then LogTen Pro will not load the internal airport database which will reduce startup times on older macs
  • Dynamic Calendar year groups will now correctly show flights made on 31-Dec
  • Flight times displayed in decimal format with a single digit of precision (tenths) now round more accurately
  • ASA and Jeppesen style reports now use a slightly smaller font size
  • Smart groups that use the “Treat criteria as minimums…” (Currency) option, and have boolean (checkbox) criteria such as aircraft tailwheel now work as expected allowing you to easily track things like tailwheel currency
