What’s New in LogTen Pro 4.2

  • Improved performance and reliability, recommended for all users.
  • Local Time Support
You can now select a preference as to whether you would like to use zulu times (the default) or local times. If you choose to use local times, then LogTen Pro will use the timezone of the appropriate airport for the time. So you can enter times in the local time for your departure airport and arrival airport and the correct time will be calculated adjusting for timezone and daylight savings time. If no timezone is set for your selected airport then UTC is assumed. NOTE: If you choose to use local times then times must be entered in local time everywhere including LogTen Mobile.
  • Simplified time entry fields alow you to enter times in one go without hitting tab to change between hours and minutes.
  • All new internal aircraft type database based on the FAA Air Traffic Control document JO 7110.65S, last updated 14-FEB-2008!
  • New simple Sectors Flown report displays the number of flights in the given time period broken down into three categories based on the distance flown.
  • Improved Jeppesen and ASA style reports so that rows will align across pages.
  • When importing data, you can now map information to go into the journal.
  • The “All Flights” group total should now stay up to date all the time!
  • Improved handling of importing data with three letter IATA or FAA id’s. If an ID is found that matches multiple airports a dialog is presented allowing the user to select which one they want to use.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause auto enter times not to be processed correctly when importing flights from LogTen Mobile.
  • Improved accuracy of night time calculation for flights that end the next zulu day
  • Custom notes fields 2, 3, 4 and 5 now allow you to save text for each flight like they should!
  • Fixed an issue that could cause duplicate airport entries when importing data using three letter IATA airport identifiers
  • Fixed an issue that could cause a crash when creating a currency or “minimums” style Smart Group with no date range
  • Numerous updates to the internal airport database
  • Updates to the internal aircraf type database
  • When sorting flights by date, LogTen Pro will now sort first by date, then by actual departure time, then by scheduled departure time. This allows scheduled flights that have not yet been completed to sort in the correct order.
