What’s New in LogTen Pro 4.4

  • NEW Support for digital certificates! You can now scan or take a digital photo of your official certificates and endorsements then attach them to the certificate in LogTen Pro to keep a digital archive. You can of course print them out of LogTen Pro as well.
  • NEW Improved support for military operations where pilots can log time in multiple categories in a single sortie.
  • NEW RAF Pilots Flying Logbook report.
  • NEW Automatically enters the correct landing and takeoff values based on whether it was day or night at your origin/destination. Note: this only happens if there’s not currently a takeoff or landing value, you have valid From and To airports set with coordinates and timezones, and you have Night time set to auto enter (on by default).
  • NEW Time saving keyboard shortcut for changing the date when editing in the table view: use “+” or “-” (or up/down arrows) to add a day or subtract a day respectively. It may not seem like much, but it’s amazing how nice this is, thanks to a customer for reminding me to get this done!

  • When sorting flights by date, for flights on the same day flights are now sorted in the following order:
    1. Flight date
    2. OUT
    3. Scheduled Out
    4. Hobbs
    5. Custom Note 1
    6. Creation time

What this means is that if you have not entered any out times it will sort by hobbs if available, if no hobbs, it will sort by the Custom Note 1 field which facilitates users importing data where they’ve entered a “leg” number to indicate ordering, this value can now be imported into the Custom Note 1 field, and then flights will sort correctly.

  • Fixed an issue that could cause dates to always show in zulu time on reports, even if the preference was set to use local time.
