What’s New in LogTen Pro 5.1

New Features

  • iCal Support! You can now go to the Reports view and in the Exporters category you will find an option to create an industry standard ICS file. This can be used in almost any calendar software, however we automatically open iCal for you. Future edits to these flights, exported again, will simply update these calendar items as opposed to creating new entries the next time you import into iCal! Fully supports either UTC or Local times.
  • New Summary reports let you quickly you see your flights by City, State/Province, or Country.
  • New “Coradine International Logbook” report provides a great looking logbook that includes the key data needed to meet the requirements of most civil aviation authorities using just one format.
  • Two new fields provide useful data for tracking on time performance. The “On Time Performance” field shows either “On Time” or the number of minutes early or late you are for each flight, while the Actual – Sched field shows the value resulting from subtracting your scheduled time from your actual time which is useful for those who are paid based on one or the other and need to compare.
  • Places now show current date and time as well as indicate whether it’s day or night.

Improvements

  • The first time you create a new flight it will default to todays date, thereafter it will take the date of whatever flight is selected. Note that the up and down arrow keys increment and decrement the date by one day.
  • Several new options for how to diplay the result value for Smart Groups.
  • The Schedule importer now provides the ability to indicate, and remember, whether schedules are in local or zulu time, indepentently of the logbook preference for how times and dates are displayed.
  • Importing flights using the schedule importer now sets default values such as aircraft, pay rates and crew.
  • Completely re-written Cathay Pacific importer now handles more complex formats such as multiple flights on the same day, as well as adding support for DragonAir.
  • WestJet now uses the FLiCA schedule importer.
  • ASA importer now correctly support their FFDO format.
  • More custom notes fields, including “Flight Code” for military pilots.
  • People view now shows the total flight time with each person.
  • Total Earnings can now be manually entered, and should migrate correctly from version 4 even if you had not entered any hourly pay rates in version 4.
  • Adjusted Flight School report to improve formatting of emtpy rows.
