NOTAM: LogTen Pro’s iCloud Sync will no longer work on devices using iCloud Drive
With the introduction of iOS 8 and Yosemite, Apple has also implemented iCloud Drive, which re-imagines the way your data is kept in the cloud.
While LogTen Pro 6 is compatible with iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite, iCloud Sync will no longer work on devices using iCloud Drive. However, you’ll be able to continue to sync your data via wi-fi (more info can be found here).
For iOS-only users, if you wish to continue using LogTen Pro’s iCloud Sync feature, then you will want to skip upgrading to iCloud Drive:
- When setting up your device after updating to iOS 8, you will be prompted to upgrade to iCloud Drive.
- To continue using iCloud Sync in LogTen Pro, select Not Now, then select Continue when prompted to confirm that you don’t want to upgrade.
For Mac users, please note that iCloud Drive will be the only available version of iCloud in OS X Yosemite. To continue to use iCloud Sync with LogTen Pro 6 for Mac, you will need to keep your Mac running OS X Mavericks.
If you’ve already upgraded to iCloud Drive, you will not be able to revert to the old iCloud; however, you’ll still be able to sync your data via wi-fi.
